Lough Mardal Lodge featured in Channel 4's travel series 'Extraordinary Escapes' in which Sandy Toksvig chooses a celebrity travel partner to stay with her at some of the UK & Ireland's 'extraordinary escapes'. In Series 3, Episode 5 which aired in July 2023 Sandy brought comedian and actress Doon Mackichan with her to Donegal and stayed at Lough Mardal Lodge. The full episode can be viewed on Channel 4's Media Player, our clip is 17.30 minutes in.
We were also thrilled to welcome Irish travel presenter Kathyrn Thomas and her daughter Ellie to Lough Mardal Lodge in July 2020 and be featured in RTE's 'No Place Like Home' travel show. Our clip is below, the full episode can be viewed (in better quality!) on RTE's Player, we feature aprox 8.30 minutes in.
