Amazing to see the 'Comet of the Century' from the hill this evening, having just witnessed yet another incredible Aurora display last weekend. Pretty mind blowing to think that the last time this comet passed by Earth 80,000 years ago our Neanderthal ancestors were here.
It should remain visible until the end of the month. One can't possibly imagine what life on Earth will be like when it passes again in another 80,000 years, if any of our descendants will still be here..or if they will be looking at it from a different planet. The mind boggles.
