Discovered by the side of our track that runs along by the lakeshore. It is unlikely it hatched. We suspect a a predator, possibly a crow. Meanwhile Mamma & Pappa Duck can be seen swimming around lake without any sign of ducklings. Hopefully there are more eggs hidden somewhere that are yet to hatch.
