Lough Mardal Glamping Lodge is located 20 minutes from Donegal Town on the Wild Atlantic Way, the beautiful coastal touring route along the west of Ireland.
You can find Lough Mardal on Google Maps under 'Lough Mardal Lodge' or our post code F94W4FE. It is located just off the N15 road between Donegal Town and Ballyshannon. It is 15 minutes from Bundoran, 40 minutes from Sligo and under 3 hours from Dublin.

There is EV Charging on-site in the car park. To use it just select the EV Charge add-on in the booking process or contact us when here and we can turn it on for you.
FROM DONEGAL TOWN:
Take the Ballyshannon road N15 (South) for approx. 8km. Go past the Ballintra/Rossnowlagh crossroads...after another 1km there is an overtaking lane going up the hill, near the top take a sharp left (opposite EJ Oil) on to the L7385 (single track road).
FROM SLIGO:
Take (Donegal road) N15 north towards Ballyshannon, bypass Ballyshannon and continue towards Donegal Town on N15.
After 8km, on the left, there is a sign for McCaffrey’s Quarry. Take next right – signposted ‘Road L7385’ (single track road). At T junction at the end of this road turn right (after 2km). Go 1.5km. You go up a small hill in a wooded area and down the other side. Our turn is a sandstone track along the shore of Lough Mardal on the left on a right-hand bend in the road. If you see a pink/red house on the right you have just passed us!

FROM DUBLIN via N3:
Head north as far as Ballyshannon and continue north towards Donegal Town on N15. After 8km, on the left, there is a sign for McCaffrey’s Quarry. The No 30 and 30X goes from Dublin to Ballyshannon (stopping at many towns along the way if one of those stops suits better) which is our closest town and less than 15 mins drive away. Alan McGloin our local taxi service would happy to collect you from there, his number is below.

The nearest train station is Sligo Train Station. Then Bus No 480 from Sligo to Ballyshannon. (Takes aprox 50 mins.)
